Trwa Riesling Week, a że właśnie w tym tygodniu wypada kolejne wydanie Winnych Wtorków to jakoś tak siła rzeczy tematem został właśnie riesling. Nikt nam tu niczego nie ograniczał, nikt nie mówił, że ma być niemiecki. I całe szczęście, bo niemieckiego akurat nie miałem, miałem za to austriacki, bo my tu w Krakowie, znaczy w dawnej Galicji bliżej i geograficznie i mentalnie mamy do Wiednia niż do Berlina. I tak tematem wpisu został Gmeinbock Riesling 2016.

Jako, że jest to wino czytelnikom już znane, przedstawiłem bliżej producenta w długim wpisie o  Gmeinbock Riesling 2014 to dziś będzie tylko krótka notka degustacyjna na koniec wpisu. Ale nie bójcie się , nie zostawię was bez treści, za to będzie moja lista za co kochać rieslinga.

  4. Ma wiele twarzy, niby to szczep aromatyczny i zwykle daje bogate, rozbuchane wina, ale w niektórych ekspresjach potrafi być stalowo czysty, mineralny, wręcz arystokratycznie wycofany.
  5. Świetnie radzi sobie z cukrem, półwytrawny czy półsłodki riesling ciągle potrafi być winem pełnym klasy i szlachetności, nie wiele szczepów to potrafi.
  6. Świetnie znosi starzenie, nawet 40 letni wciąż ma wiele do zaoferowania, nie bójcie się więc, ze leżąc pod łóżkiem wejdzie na krzywą schodząca.  
  7. Riesling świetnie pasuje do polskiej kuchni, do bigosu, schabowego do polskich ryb wód słodkich i do klasycznych dań polskiej wigilii.
  8. Riesling nie przepada za beczka, to też jak nie lubicie masła i wanilii to to szczep dla was. 
  9. Lubi chłodny klimat, kiedyś w Polsce będą powstawały świetne rieslingi.

Gmeinbock Riesling 2016

To pochodzące z Dolnej Austrii, z okolic Poysdorfu wino to bardzo typowy riesling, choć w swojej prostszej formie. Bardzo owocowy w nosie, pełno tu tonów brzoskwiń i cytryny a w tle białe kwiaty. W ustach lekkie,  o trzymanej w ryzach kwasowości i czystej, intensywnej owocowości z lekko ziołowo-herbacianą końcówka. Bardzo świeże i rześkie, takie w sam raz na działking albo balkoning, próżno szukać w nim mineralności, ale to chyba nie te regiony, nie te siedliska.  Bezpretensjonalne, radosne i bardzo pijalne. Wino kosztowało 7,99 euro i należy je traktować jako wino codzienne, no może na sobotnie popołudnie, co do oceny to mocne 4,0 czyli dobre. I w tej roli świetnie się sprawdza. Pijmy tego lata rieslingi, nie tylko w Riesling Week.

Przy okazji wszystkim podróżującym przez Morawy do Wiednia polecam zrobić sobie krótką przerwę w Weinmarkecie w Poysdorfie, sporo tam fajnych, a przy tym budżetowych butelek, nie tylko spod znaku rieslinga. Warto uzupełnić piwniczkę.
